For both work and leasure I am building a new system. I chose my case because of its small form factor but now I'm unsure if the build won't run hotter than an airfryer.

A few suggested changes. A 240 AIO might struggle a bit with that unlocked i7 if you ever use cpu intensive programs. Normally a 360 AIO is recommended for those unlocked i7's but if you go with a 360 AIO you would have to mount it up front and that is going to make it difficult to fit your gpu inside that case. I would look at a locked i7 for that build.

This Corsair psu is manufactured by Seasonic for Corsair and comes with a 10 year warranty.

CORSAIR RMx Series (2021) RM850x 850W 80+ GOLD Modular Power Supply $139.97

Pair it up with a Corsair 600w 12vhpwr cable.

or find it on ebay.

For the RGB look you could go with an air cooler such as this one paired up with low profile RAM as to avoid clearance issues.

DeepCool AG620 BK ARGB Dual-Tower CPU Cooler $59.99

This set of RAM has lower latency than the set in your build and games take advantage of low latency RAM.

G.SKILL Ripjaws S5 Series DDR5 6000 32GB (2x16GB) CL36 $139.99

If you do go with an AIO then I would look at the Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 and top mount it.

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 ARGB CPU AIO $123.99

and pair it up with a set of RGB RAM with lower latency.

As for the cpu ... locked cpu's for these 13 gen i7 / i9's is where it's at and I will show you why. These Raptor Lake cpu's are pushed to their limits out of the box.

Unlocked 13 gen i7.

Processor Base Power: 125W
Maximum Turbo Power: 253W

Locked 13 gen i7.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...-30m-cache-up-to-5-20-ghz/specifications.html
Processor Base Power: 65W
Maximum Turbo Power: 219W

No integrated graphics.

Intel Core i7-13700F $379.99

w/integrated graphics.

https://www.newegg.com/intel-core-i7-13700-core-i7-13th-gen/p/N82E16819118427
Intel Core i7-13700 $409.99

The difference between a locked 12 gen i7 and unlocked 12 gen i7 is a whopping 1 FPS on average and I doubt it is any different with the 13 gen.
