If portability isn't the utmost priority, building or buying a pre-built gaming pc would give you more performance per buck than the gaming laptop.

Gaming laptop with those specs isn't going to be cheap. And PCs are better in terms of making upgrades than the gaming laptops, meaning PC is a better choice considering future-proofing as well.

Just saying.
