Thought it might be fun to see each other play, especially now that Steam is recording your gameplay.

I didn't get to post the Dune video, but I wanted to post something, so here is a 25 second video of me running into the demon in Warhammer 40k Darktide.

You can see I panicked when I realized she was on top of me and shot wildly. It wouldn't have mattered. It took Guido 3 shots with his rocket launcher to kill her. I could have tried blocking, but my character's stamina is awful and, also, I run everywhere, so I never have stamina...

I just upload little throwaway clips. I really should start clipping my more impressive moments, or something more worthwhile to watch.

Earlier this year I checked out an awesome mod for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland called reTHAWed. Very impressive with the entire scope of the mod. I had to grab a copy of the original game off the Internet Archive to get it as I only own the Gamecube version.

I realized that Avowed kind of works as a first-person parkour game. Add a wallrun vertically and horizontally and you've basically got Mirror's Edge: High Fantasy.

This guy just disapeered right in front of my eyes and it made me laugh for a solid 3 minutes straight. Wish I came up with a better title though, kind of lame.

The follow-up video options made me cringe

Are they just copying somebody or are they using AI to make their thumbnails? I guess it's pretty much the same either way.

Here's one from The Valley which I just realized I've had set to private for however-many years. Sheesh, no wonder nobody was watching it! Nothing special, just running around in a pretty game.

I wish I could live my life in constant jaw-dropping amazement at everything I encounter.

I wonder if there is something psychological to the gaping mouth and red arrows in thumbnails. Perhaps it works best on children, they see those thumbnails and just HAVE to know what is causing them to breathe heavy out of their mouth at.

That is actually really annoying to me. Also I've noticed that the text on those images seems to be slowly getting more an more misleading, as are the video titles.

There is, but I asked Brian years ago, and he said it was okay for the regulars to post videos. Plus, we aren't really self-promoting. No one here is trying to become the next Pewdiepie. It's more like sharing a screenshot. Anyway, at that time someone else was posting their videos, but I can't remember who it was.

They are starting to become like extended screenshots sometimes, too. This is doing pretty much the same thing as a screenshot, with added sunrise effects:

I didn't really notice the music until I started clipping and it was playing the music of the clip and the music of the game at the same time.

Fortunately for me, they have a music slider in the options.
