Question Windows 7 wasnt working for my windows 10 pc so I tried Windows XP

I named it Windows XP

selected next

first attempt did 129 MB of memory

second attempt did 512 MB of memory

selected create virtual hard disk now

put a check mark on pre-allocate full size

selected next

selected finish

selected settings

selected system

moved hard disk as first boot order

selected storage

selected empty

selected the blue disk icon

selected choose a disk file

chose my windows xp file i got from internet archive

selected ok
and then clicked run

it began the windows xp installation process

and then somewhere through it

the installation just aborted

i would have also attached the log of virtualbox that aborted but you dont have an option to attach a file

i see mention of a bug where windows XP won't install with more than 512mb installed, but you set it as 512 so I don't think that is reason

Could try with less ram?
you can add more after its installed

I have already booted up an OS but find it too slow to work on. Is there a way to increase the RAM which was allocated to it initially?
