I have an old office chair, circa 1982. There is no hydraulic lift, its sitting metal on metal. The cushions colors don't match, and are stained with god knows what. And when I say cushions, I use the phrase loosely.. It feels like I'm sitting on wood, I'm not sure there is any actual foam left, just material. The paint is worn off the metal legs, and the wheel bearings have long since seized, when it moves it squeals. It does still spin pretty well, but thats it. If you sit on this bad boy for more than about two hours, you're waking up with a sore lumbar region.

My chair doesn’t even have an armrest, you can’t adjust the size and the cushion is so bad that my buttocks become painless after 10 minutes, I use my PC on the bed it hurts less

Ma chair is not verry ergonomical, it was a budget chair and I am curently on the market for a new one with better seat foam density !

My current chair is fine, it's not really ergonomical but eh, at least it has a footrest and reclinable backrest, but it's material isn't comfy anymore, the armrest just dug itself under my elbow, so it's like having the bare plastic directly. At least it's not a wooden chair but eh, could use a good chair, even my Father could use one..
