You'll probably get a different answer from everyone—eg mine's an old Roccat Isku, and I would buy it again if still for sale.

seemed like too much work to just use a keyboard

So I just got a corsair K55 RGB version 2.

Perhaps the Scrooge in me says "Humbug". My keyboard is a wireless Logitech K270 and works fine. This seems like I want to drive from A to B, which car should I buy? - the Mini Cooper or the Rolls Royce - both get me there but one is a lot cheaper.

I have a Corsair STRAFE. It looks nice and does the job but I wouldn't say its won me over to the extent that I'd look to buy one over others next time.
