Which game studio is it finally time to see a reveal from in 2025?

Hey PC gamers, welcome back to the Chat Log, this week Mollie and I called in Morgan Park to talk about which developers we want to hear from in 2025. It's not lost on us that this episode went up right before The Game Awards on the same day so we were prepared for some of our predictions to be immediately proven or disproven. I'm proud of myself for managing to call Hazelight sharing their next game before that got confirmed for TGAs.

Which studio do you think it's finally time to hear from in 2025?​

One of my personal predictions that didn't get picked up at The Game Awards so I'm hoping to still see in 2025 is a proper reveal for the next game from Playdead. I'm a big enjoyer of Limbo and Inside and I really want to see where that studio is headed next even as I enjoy some of the creepy sidescrolling puzzlers in its wake like Planet Of Lana or Tiny Nightmares. I said it last year and I'll keep saying it every year: show us James Bond, IO Interactive!

Should be getting an announcement for a new Horizon game next year.

Getting late for a new NieR game. Wasteland 4 is past due, too.

I guess HL3 is out of the question?

You can do that if I can wonder where Myth 4 is. Or, to really go old school, where the next Alternate Reality game is.
