Which component should i change ?

My config:

-Intel Core i3-8100 (3.6 GHz)

-Palit GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL, 3 Go

-Gigabyte B360 HD3

-Cooler Master K550, 550W

-16 go ram



I want to improve my pc, but i don't know if i should buy a new graphic card (maybe rtx 2080) or change my processor (and my motherboard bc it's too old for new processors).

Could I have your opinion ? Thx

An expert will be along soon, but in the meantime—is your RAM DDR4 or DDR3?

You'll almost definitely need to upgrade the processor + mobo—I currently play on a 1060-6GB with an i7-7 processor… but i5 recent gen 12 or 13 should be fine.

The guys are going to also want to know:
♣ What games do you (want to) play?
♦ What's your budget?
♥ What's your country & currency, and do you have any preferred retailers to buy from?

My ram is DDR4 and 2800 or 3200 mhz (can't remember) but my mobo is limitating it to 2666mhz.
I want to play games like rust (i think it's the heavier game that i play)
My budget for a graphic card is like 400 euros (I live in France) and i think i will look to second hand gpu, and i already found some 2080 or 2080 ti around this price (I also saw a 2080 ti founders edition for 400 euros, but it seems suspect to me).
For the processor and mobo, i think i'll prefer to buy them new, in sites like amazon but i'm open for others.

And between an i5 or a ryzen 5600, what you think is better ? And with an nvidia gpu, can I use an amd processor ?
