thats lovely, its almost like what Samsung did with their Evo Plus range where they swapped controllers a few months into 2020 and suddenly they slow down and don't speed up again, the software doesn't do something. Lucky I got one before that change too. They slow down to 800 write I believe.

I didnt catch that Samsung one at the time, Kingston were at it as well a long time ago. To be fair at least in PNY's case I dont think many people will ever notice, but it definitely sucks when a product is changed for the worse after reviews are out, and the manufacturer doesnt say anything.

Main game rig:

Ryzen 9 5950X
32GB Memory (2x16GB, 3200)
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite WiFi Motherboard
Radeon RX 6900 XT (16GB)
Samsung SSD 970 EVO 2TB
1kw Silverstone Platinum PSU (ST1000-PTS)
4k Samsung display

Bought the Silverstone (not favorite PSU brand) when I had 3080 Ti installed because it refused to play well with my (now in a box) Seasonic 850w PSU.

I was worried I had a slower one as for a while it seemed to be slowing but it was just a phase

From what I've been able to tell, the RX 6900 XT and the 3080 Ti are pretty neck and neck, with the 6900 XT slightly outperforming in some situations, but the 3080 Ti significantly outperforming in RT. Just out of curiosity, why did you switch from the 3080 Ti to the RX 6900 XT?

I prefer AMD GPUs. I still have the 3080 Ti as a backup, if needed.

My backup game rig has a Ryzen 5600X, RX 6750 XT combo.
