What's a game everyone seems to love, but you just can't get into?

I understand you. At one point, I almost gave up on System Shock because sometimes it wasn’t clear what to do. That’s a similar issue with OW; you need to explore, read logs, and immerse yourself in the lore, in my opinion. Overall, I found it pretty straightforward, with guidance on where to go next. I only got stuck once, and that was at the very end.

But of course, I’m not trying to force you to play it. I can understand what it's like when you don't have much time for games and want to spend it wisely.
The Outer Wilds isn't the first (and probably not last) game I've given up on because I just don't have the time to get into it. I have a fairly long list of games I'd love to get back to if/when I start having more time available for gaming.

Even Journey has always struck me as a rather straightforward adventure (which doesn't mean it can't have a great story), and I've somehow managed to avoid playing it.
its story isn't necessary to play game. If anything its cryptic and you only work it out after a number of plays. Its also a game you can finish in 90 minutes or so, but many people play it more than once... i lost track.

I wasn't being serious, some would say it isn't really a game... but that is another topic we already had :)

Isn't Journey the game where you can even mysteriously interact with other players? Or am I imagining things?

I guess that is one way to describe it. Unless you know there can be other players in the game, it can be a surprise to find that one person you met was actually about four, or that multiple meetings are in fact same person. There are only so many ways you can communicate with players and if they are new, they may not know you aren't just an npc in the game.
You only find out the names of players after game ends. You also can't play with people on your friends list, so its really hard to meet same people twice unless the number of people in the pool is small.

I played on PS3/4/PC and well, sometimes you would get a message after game from people who realised the person in the white suit was real... most of the time I couldn't read reply as they were often speaking in a language I don't understand. The limited communication methods in the game means it was easier to understand in there than in reality. I played with people in Japan and other Asian countries, you never knew who you would meet in game.

The game without meeting people along way really isn't that interesting... not when you have played it 100's of times already.
The game got me through some hard times, its a great distraction.
