Hi and welcome.

DDR3L is just lower voltage DDR3 so its compatible with any board that uses DDR3. So most motherboards released from 2007 until 2014. Some 6xxx series Intel chip boards used it but not all.

You will find a motherboard support page for almost every motherboard model that states the RAM type required, and if you are dealing with a prebuilt the product page for the model you have will also state the RAM type used.
