What do you think the best shooter of all time is?

How foolish the half life team were with team fortress 2 they were about to make modern warfare / battlefield in the same style as counter strike /half life, the serious version of TF2, and they made a stupid cartoon game instead, they were right on the mega money with their original design

My favorite is Resident Evil 4, a fantastic game that invented the over-the-shoulder 3rd person view that so many games use these days.

I played Doom 2 for a very long time back in the day.

The best shooter in my experience was Counter Strike, though the player base made me quit.

I probably should have tried quake 3 or unreal tournament instead, it's a shame the arena shooter died out.
