What are your personal games of the year for 2023? (or 2013 for Brian)

Subnautica is definitely my GOTY for games I played for the first time this year. I'm not sure what I would have chosen if I hadn't gotten it this Christmas.

but i digress, i want to get it but i'm in no rush to play that boomer shooter. maybe too edgy, black emo for my tastes. even if its ironic.

Been having this same thought about that particular one. Same goes for Turbo Overkill and the other one that came out a year or two ago that just looks like a graphical mess. Supposedly they're all very good, but I can't bring myself to get past the aesthetics.
