I remember finishing Bank Panic once... most arcade games had no end.
I remember finishing a snes game and being disappointed as I thought there was another map.
First console game I remember the day of finishing... Super Metroid. I know as I wasn't sure what to do now... it taken me a year. Now people speed run it in less than an hour. But I had fun and wanted 100%. I didn't know about the reward for ending within 4 hours.
I don't like games with ends. I prefer games that just keep going until you bored of playing them.
I know I finished Journey... about 400 times... but it really doesn't have an end, the end wraps around to the beginning again. You can play it forever... I almost did.
