Be there or be @Colif

(I miss Brian, so now I have to pick on Colif)

The show will be streaming on Twitch, YouTube, Ginx, Steam and China's Bilibili platform. Dedicated streams with localized subtitles in English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, French, Korean, German, ASL, and BSL will be broadcast, all of which can be found at PC Gamer's YouTube channel.

Just because I'm curious about weird things, during the show I went to YouTube, Steam and Twitch, and the viewer numbers were:

YouTube - 5500
Steam - 3500
Twitch - 1300

Approximate values, of course, but I was surprised that there were so few viewers on Twitch. In any event, they did a poor job of advertising it. Also, having it run in the afternoon on a Thursday wasn't great, either.

Since apparently no one watched the show, here's the rundown article of the top 25 most wanted games and also the reveals.

I'm a little ticked that they allowed GTA6 in there. It's not even coming to PC.

I did indeed not watch the show. I'm not planning on buying anything the day of release anyway, so no sense in getting myself hyped up.

I am curious about Dune: Awakening, Slay the Spire 2 and Avowed though. For Dune: Awakening, I'm mostly curious how they're going to pull off making it actually feel like Dune, whereas I might actually want to play Slay the Spire 2 and Avowed eventually, if they are any good.

reads who is making it... Funcom... remembers what games he has played of theirs in past. Not ideal.
Shame Light No Fire is a survival game.

I know someone who would have bought number 1.

I don't see any there I want. As usual. Might get Civ 7 eventually but I pre ordered last one and never played it, so perhaps I learn my lesson and just watch others play it... again.

Watching someone play a game increases brain rot.

Brian wouldn't have bought it for years. I'm not sure he had bought 6 yet and just started playing 5 this year.

Yeah, those shows are a bit hard to watch, really. I only care about maybe one in five games, and even a lot of those won't really tell me anything more. (I know Control 2 is coming out - and there's really no more to know yet.) That leaves me watching a lot of stuff that I don't care about.

That sure is a LOT of games, though!

Well, theoretically so is No Man's Sky. The survival elements are really only a challenge for the first few hours, though. After that, if you get in trouble, you can always just call your ship over and jump in the cockpit.

He started playing 6 in 2022, almost 6 years after its release:

From my experience with Civilization games, you should really wait until the two major expansions have been released before buying the game. Even better if you wait a couple more years so you can buy them on sale and check if there are any good QoL mods.
