So for a couple years I've been on a indie games kick. Any good suggestions would be appreciated as I've played most of the more "commonly" known RPG and puzzle games. I'm not looking for just RPG and puzzles either, top down shooters and delve styled games would be welcomed too!

Welcome to the forum :)

Search for "indie" on Steam, then sort the list by 'User Reviews'—that'll give you a list to last a lifetime!

Well, there's indie as in independent of a publisher, and then there's indie as in fairly small developer... I'm guessing you're asking more for the latter so Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk don't make the list. I'll just go down my games list, sorted by time played.

Genre: uhhh, space-based rags to riches?

Similar to X-COM but drop the whole 'dead is dead' vibe and replace it with a few hundred skill options.

The other party-based new AD&D rules game. This one lacks BG3's production values, but you're able to create your entire party. There are quite a few player-made campaigns now, too.

RPG that eventually gets repetitive, but the ability to slow down time instead of completely pausing it is worth the price of admission all by itself.

Fun and funny RPG. Hard mode is a real challenge!

Best exploration game I've ever seen.

Not really indie but has the indie vibe:
I just started playing this. A 4X game that's incredibly complex but allows you to automate any parts of it that you want, so it ends up being as complex as you make it with your automation choices.

A really unique turn-based strategy game.

A 4X game with the most detailed battles I've ever seen, outside of Sword of the Stars 2. Unfortunately, 2 got cut off while the game was still in so-so shape. Better to go with the original first.

Oooh thats a fun list, I'll tap into some of that, thanks :)! Played a couple of those, all solid so I trust the rest will be equally pleasing.

One of my favourites this year, in the retro type was Dragon Ruins. The same developers have published Ringlorn Saga Gaiden this year and also Demon Lord Reincarnation last year. If you enjoy these sort of games I'm sure you'll enjoy these. All of them are on GOG and Steam.
Another good one from this year, I thought, was Dungeon Antiqua (Steam).

If you enjoy more story-driven ones, I'd suggest the Six Ages series (though arguably not RPG as we expect themn today) and The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante. (both GOG and Steam).

To round things out,... how about World of Horror, Pendragon and the Sorcery! series (all GOG, Steam),?
Certainly good and interesting indie RPGs.
To finish, Moon (remix RPG - on Steam), the prototypical hidden gem.
