Hello, my pc is:

Cpu: I7-13700Kf
Gpu: rtx 4080 super
Ram: 32gb DDR5 6400
Psu: Corsair RMx SHIFT RM1200x 80+ Gold
Motherboard: Asus Z790-A Wifi

The game with DLSS/FG is running fine for me in terms of frame rate, but at the beginning of the second level, just as I'm walking toward the capsule containing the shield, I get a noticeable stutter.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is it normal?

I recorded the issue using the hardware monitoring that comes with the game, but it won't let me add the url to this post.

Thanks.

wonder if this is op

I get stuttering just before getting the shield, at the beginning of the second level, exactly a few steps before reaching the capsule that falls from the sky with the shield. If I go back and return to the capsule, I get that stuttering again.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'm playing on Game Pass, not Steam.
Thanks.

otherwise, it could be the capsule.

He asking all over the place... I can show the video link
All the other videos I can find of the start of level 2 have the capsule already on the ground. Only his shows it falling as he approaches it. One I could understand but other shows the video before and it was landed before he got to it.

its only a small stutter, if it didn't happen everytime he approached it I could call it intentional.

if you on game pass, have you tried to verify game files to make sure its okay?
open xbox app
right click game
select manage
go to files and click Verify and Repair

its not a common problem. I don't find anyone else with it.
Updated GPU drivers?

I even reinstalled Windows, so it's not due to a poorly installed game or anything like that. The video drivers, BIOS, etc., are all up to date.

If it were a bug, there would be more people having the same problem.

that sounds like a hardware problem of some kind. Generally, if it survives a windows install its hardware...
when you reinstalled windows, did you wipe drive and start again or just do a reset? Reason I ask is resets keep the drivers, clean makes you start from scratch.

No other odd things in any other games? Anything?

Was it that much of a problem to cause you to clean install windows?

what are full specs of the PC?
what else is plugged into PC? Maybe its caused by mouse or something... I have had/seen some weird answers to questions.

Three videos now, all show the capsule is already down before they approach it... whereas yours shows the capsule is already showing and then comes down on top. Looks like a bug of sorts.

I wonder if they patched it or something

maybe its your save file? Since Game pass save files are saved on your PC and on the Cloud. Maybe its just your file. Shame you can't start again without deleting progress.

This removes saves on PC and cloud.

  • navigate to the game within the Xbox app,
  • go to its Manage game options,
  • select Saved data,
  • and then choose the Delete Everywhere option
