Not much coming up that id like to buy, a lot of them i already have if so. Kinda bummed not to see
Avowed on any type of sale, i dont have it on steam and like to but not paying anywhere near 70 usd for it atm.
Didnt think id like this on my screen during games, but i dont really notice it, and its fun to watch my lil frog run around and cut grass lol. Never really been an idler game fan, but this ones pretty neat
I just always forget to fire this guy up and let him do his thing...
I could go for some good recs here as well. I think InXile has some games in this category. Not sure if they are any good.
You guys looking for much talking or little talking? Darkest Dungeon 2 is a pretty great run-based, party-based RPG-lite. It's difficult and challenging, but you can build your characters-up as you do runs (even if they die, which they will) and reconfigure their skills on the fly depending on what you think you'll need for a given area.
Also, a couple of my favorites from last year:
SKALD:Against the Black Priory is a retro-style party-based RPG set in a grim-dark fantasy world of tragic heroes, violent deaths and Lovecraftian horror. Take a chance and roll the dice as you embark on a compelling story filled with deadly creatures, branching story and tactical, turn-based combat

Again low on the talking, but has some great tactics, fun exploration and a really great, light touch story. I loved everything about this game, so much that I gave it a review on Steam; I think I have 3-total reviews on Steam over my 21 years and this game is one of them. I adore this one. Also, the top review that says it's not playable on a Steam Deck is a dullard; I played the entire game on Deck and it played fantastically.
Then there is:
In Felvidek, a JRPG set in 15th century Slovakia, you embrace the role of an alcoholic knight Pavol. Meet diverse and interesting characters to help you drive out the Hussites and Ottomans who blight this land.

Another banger. Hate to use the term again, but I
adored this one. Heavier on the story and on the talking, but the game is concise, I finished it in just over 6-hours. It has a hilarious sense of humor about it, a really interesting art style and the combat is pretty fun for being based on something like Dragon Quest. Another high recommendation from me.
And finally:
Become Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking yakuza grunt left on the brink of death by the man he trusted most. Take up your legendary bat and get ready to crack some underworld skulls in dynamic RPG combat set against the backdrop of modern-day Japan.

I still haven't finished this one, as it's a bit of a classical JRPG in that it's long as hell. That said, the Ichiban is a great main character and you can't help but root for him. The team mates are also great and feel reasonably fleshed out in the 30ish hours I've put into this one and again, it has a fantastic sense of humor about it; I've played few games I found as funny as this one (though Felvidek is definitely up there) and it's just generally fun to explore the city and see what hijinks you can get up to.
