This page shows what all the colours and headings mean, link at bottom of it shows how to use it to find problems. You can right click processes and run an av scan from within the program.

Or just use HWINFO and set up charts to monitor individual parts of the PC, and put those on screen... and make a post about how to do it... nah, have to be mad to do that:

Download HWINFO - https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

when you open the app, click the tick box next to show sensors only, and click run
in the next window, click on the gear icon in bottom right, this opens settings.

On General tab, under polling period, set it to 500 and click the set button next to it, and click OK. this reduces the amount of time between sensors updating so its more accurate and you can watch CPU fall and rise all day.

I had real fish for about 5 years, fake ones really don't do it for me. At least you don't have to clean out the dead ones.

I kept fish, too, but I still find the aquarium "game" relaxing.

Well I completely forgot to check any diagnostics or whatnot, but all weekend long it worked just fine. I have no idea why it did that the other day. Gamed a lot this weekend with no issues, no 100% CPU loads or anything.

Why does File Explorer now ignore the "." in the search? I searched for *.web* and it pulled up everything on the system with the word "web" anywhere in it.

I asked CoPilot, and all it said was "I need permission to search your drives" and gave me a yes/no option. Since i can search the drives myself, I just ignored it. I got rid of CoPilot on my laptop. I don't want it having any more access to anything since it can't actually do anything but snoop and search for files. If some day it can reliably fix problems, I'll consider it, but after asking it plenty of coding questions, I'm not confident it won't regularly cause catastrophy.

That's a relatively useful AI, but it isn't as accurate at interpreting your questions properly. It might be an SLM (a lite version of an LLM) so that it doesn't cause any delays when people search. One of the main things that people have traditionally liked about Google was its speed, and Google's full LLM, Gemini, is slow as heck. SLM's can chat, but their logic/reasoning is pretty weak.

I normally look at its sources to find it from there, as AI isn't always accurate.
Sometimes its hard to find the answer in its sources though.
