Good morning, I’m completely new to pc gaming due to a friend introducing me to it. I am still learning about builds and all the other different components. In the future it will be my desire to build a pc.

However for now,I’m looking for a pre built gaming pc. I’m only a casual gamer at the minute and since it’s my first one, I'm not looking for the absolute best specs as long as it can play the majority of games. My budget is around £1000-1500 so I just wondered if anybody had any suggestions on good quality gaming pcs within that price range.

Any response is greatly appreciated
Thank you

I'm afraid I dont really follow pre-built systems so much, but this is a pretty good deal including a decent monitor as well as mouse and keyboard.

Some of the secondary components like the PSU are not something I would use in a custom build but tbh thats pretty common with pre builds, and its possible to replace them with better components over time.

OCUK is an old and trustworthy PC supplier.

Someone else might have better options as well :)

The most important thing to do is decide what games you want to play. Get your friend to help you ... type what do i need to run xyz into a web browser , you will then find a thread with a spec list of components required to run it so make sure your intended machine has them.

Note Some machines are " made to a price " some brands of pc can be purchased directly from the makers with better parts fitted.

Dont fall for the ... you cant get this cheaper anywhere else , one brand of pc can only be purchased in a certain store so its false advertising.

Dont buy a Dell pc , i know people have have them , they are noisy , overheat and even their online tech guys cant fix them.

Again you can ask your friend to help you do the following.

Somebody mentioned OCUK , my pc's were built by a company called pc specialist.
Go to the build section of the website and choose all the parts you need and at the end it will tell you if you have parts that are not matched or overkill such as too big a power supply/

BTW welcome to the wonderful world of pc gaming

@nathanjj there's plenty of how to vids on youtube that will walk you through step by step on building a PC not to mention this site has multiple posters who will point you in the right direction if you decide to save some money and build it yourself.
