When its your last album and you don't care anymore
I wonder who sang that... looks

Lead guitarist did... Bassist sang most of the hits. Its obvious why.

I remember when they split up after this. I was not amused. Still don't like Sting for it.

First reaction... who is that new voice

guess it makes sense, most of their songs rely on 2 singers.
the style of music they used to play isn't as empty as it was when they left it... even though they moved all over the place there was a certain sound to them.

I been listening to this band instead

A song about one of the best ways to wake up each day... and its bound to do it for you

I really like this one, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Devy just doesn't do it for me anymore. Used to be such a huge fan of his (saw him the night before my wedding :D ), but he's kind of lost me in recent years. His music is competent and good, it just doesn't resonate with me anymore and it kind of makes me sad.

Anyway, another sip of coffee for me...

Here's something everyone will hate, but it certainly has attitude and never fails to get my blood pumping and gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

wow, i can actually understand what he is saying... that is unusual in some metal these days

I don't hate it, its a throw back style in some ways.

I listen to all sorts of things, from old stuff from the 1980's to today. Its just a mostly avoided posting metal in this thread...

have a short song

Depends on the genre, as far as vocals go. That band is part of a greater Thrash revival that happened in the late 00's, so you're not far off on the throwback.

I don't generally go around proselytizing my favorite style of music, but this thread is supposed to be about attitude, so it seemed appropriate and it's easy to refrain from the harsher vocal styles, as they're an acquired taste.

Helloween is appropriate and a throwback for me; I listened to a load of Power Metal like that back in the day. Granted, I tended to go towards Iced Earth and Blind Guardian primarily, but even still listening to that song was very nostalgic for me.
