Dont know if its a typical Irish wedding, but I bet parts of it look pretty familiar to people across Britain and Ireland, if not a lot of other places. Apart from the accents of course

Yes I think we must be of a similar age and that album; the musicianship, the use of found and created sound effects and the lyrics was part of that education. I think lyrics in many songs at that time echoed or reinforced ideas in my adolescent mind.
(and yes I still have a curiosity about everything which is part of a personal education)
