PC WONT POST

So i had an issue everytime i started my pc the cpu light would be on i sent the motherboard for testing it was fine and got another cpu now it also happens but its wierd if i the pc works then i shutdown (also had an issue where it wouldn't shut down fully) and i start it again it works wonders but if i wait idk 8+ hrs when i try to power it on it will stay stuck what i did to fix it was plug out the psu cable and held the pc button for 1 min and it worked. Im thinking it might be a Cmos battery although in Hwinfo it says its at 3.0V but maybe its lower after it stays off. Or there could be electricity still somehow in the pc? Anyways i really need your help i really don't want to lose another cpu bcs i didn't try everything else. I send the moborboard 2 times to waranty they said its okay i send the ram same thing. Went to a local shop and he said its the ram but i just cant trust anyone since when i send them to waranty they say its working just fine what can i do? BTW i have some videos and pics if anyone needs more info. I really need help i dont know how i can prove to get my parts replace by warranty or at the worst buy the right ones.

what are specs of the PC?

What CPUs have you had, and what motherboard is it?
Have you got latest BIOS on motherboard?
What Power Supply do you have?
What ram?
What storage devices? any hdd?
what else is attached?

show us a list of parts and we can try to offer suggestions.

It could be another device not answering at start and causing post to wait

have you tried to start with the bare minimum in PC? I mean - CPU, GPU (If CPU doesn't include an integrated GPU), ram, and power.

Since it happens every time, it should be easy to test and see if that works. it won't boot into windows in this state since storage not attached, but it might show those parts are okay or not.

If it doesn't get past post, it might at least remove everything else from blame. Some parts are harder to test than others.

If I were to guess I would say PSU, but I don't like guessing without confirming everything else is okay first... blind replacing can get expensive if you keep getting it wrong.

It would be unlucky to be the new CPU. Two dead CPU on same board would make me look at power for sure.

Do you get an error at start when its stuck?

show us photos? might want to click on link below as the embed isn't showing entire thread

videos might be harder given you a new user, but can try linking to Youtube. We used to get a lot of spam and forums locked down now.

CMOS battery a cheap fix, worth a try.

if you doing a hard shutdown - unplugging and holding power in for a minute, there shouldn't be any power left in system.

it doesn't sound like a memory error, they are more random and would cause BSOD in windows, not start
