Or just how much of it is spam in general. Youtube celebrates 1 trillion spams, and acts like its a good thing. I guess Google makes money off advertising, so they essentially saying "Look how much money we made"

It's easy to forget that Alphabet and Meta are advertising companies, two of the biggest in the world.

So all their properties—Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc etc—exist mainly to serve ads.

So it is a good thing for Alphabet when their subsidiaries can latch onto other companies' products and get views to profit from them.

Minecraft videos now have 1 trillion views on YouTube, but the most popular ones aren't actually made in Minecraft

YouTube has shared stats on the most popular Minecraft videos since 2010 and there sure are a lot of music video parodies.
