Hello Members.
I have a question. My darkflash AIO cooler fans mounted on top of the case, wobble on linux OS only. WHile they wobble they also make noise. What could be causing it? Has anyone faced this issue before?

Thanks

I mean....unless he installed fanwobble.exe I don't see how this can be software/os related. Fans can wobble due to bad mounting/wrong orientation/damage /poor quality but not running a different OS

One cause of wobble is different fan speeds. Windows might take control of the fan whereas linux isn't. Thats just a guess.

I can't get the Darkflash website to load so I don't know if there is any software for the AIO.

Its just a fan on an aio, not a CPU fan as such. Its mounted to a radiator.

Other choice: its a 2 day old unit, it might be he only seeing it in linux now and it could start happening in windows. I suggested he get a replacement since its so new.

i got sidetracked looking at this site - https://darkflashtech.com/collections/cooling
I don't think its related as they sell other brands.

this is a weird case
and a great collector of dust.

I think https://www.darkflash.com/ is the actual site but only front page seems to work. Sometimes.

Not sure about fans attached to a AIO. It depends how its wired up.
My fans run off a cable attached to CPU pump. Icue runs them in windows. they not attached directly to motherboard.
Only fan header used is for the water pump. I know there is a USB cable there too, I think thats to allow control of the fans by Icue.

my fans in windows run by Fancontrol (https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases) but you correct they just run off a fan curve in bios otherwise. Mine just don't behave at the same speeds.

aio fans still need to be connected to the CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT 3/4-pin
