The RGB lighting on my B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE motherboard, case fans, and AIO cooler is not turning on or being detected by the software.

but my ram and vga RGB is on,

on GCC Software only RAM can detect

Bios 7d since a few weeks without a problem.

Gigabyte BIOS with letters after them are normally Beta...

They don't ever show if they deleted Beta, my last X570 board is on a beta bios that is no longer listed.
I am now on a X870 Aorus Elite Wifi7 Ice and they finally changed what was showing as a beta last week into F8 - I had been ignoring it

If you had been on a bios a few weeks and change only happened yesterday, it can't really be the BIOS. They don't change by themselves, it has to be software that is to blame.

There are no controls in the BIOS for rgb, its all controlled by software. I remember from when I swapped my rgb colours from blue to gold and it took a while for the system to use gold at startup. RAM is still rainbow at start.

Maybe I won't rush to get these:

it might be another component needs an update as well, they also have
Gigabyte MB Update Library
which is used to update the list of supported hardware for RGB Fusion... it was last updated in September.

Its really strange that the motherboard RGB doesn't work but ram does... that sounds like a bug in the program. Did it work before?

They do all seem to be the ice versions which seems odd. I did look for non ICE but I didn't find many. Some its unclear which version of board they have.

BIOS versions should be the same on non ICE boards so same things should be happening there. I don't think the versions of the software would be different across boards... no reason it should be.

So its odd its mostly ICE.



I have the lower case fans and ram running off RGB Fusion, my GPU fans need another program as motherboard can't see my card. Fairly sure on-board rgb lights work but the bottom rgb fans overpower it, i can see its light barely under GPU
