Question Is this a good budget 4K build under $2000?

Hi, I need a PC build under 1.8 - 2 lakh (2000 USD) for heavy office work, gaming and video editing.

Purpose: Heavy office work, AI models, 4K video editing, photoshop, camera raw footage enhancements, and gaming on weekends. Apps: Docker (to run LLMs on local machine), Chrome, Sony Catalyst, Adobe Photsohop, Davinci and similar apps.

My laptop “ASUS ROG Strix G7Q3M” broke down last week and I have decided to get a proper PC this week. Thinking to get something mid to high tier items yet VFM for work.And future proof:

• RX 9070 XT Steel Legend Dark 16GB
• AMD Ryzen 9 9900x Processor
• Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WIFI ATX
• G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
• XPG MARS 980 BLADE 2TB SSD – PCIe Gen5 x4, M.2
• Deepcool LE360 V2 360mm CPU Liquid Cooler Black
• Deepcool CG530 4F Mid Tower Cabinet - Black
• MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 Power Supply

Look for a set of 2x32GB RAM and if it fits your budget a RTX 5070 Ti for editing purposes. You can cut cost by going with a dual tower cpu air cooler and a less expensive B850 board.

The RX 9070 XT is vastly slower at AI than the 5070 TI. I would stay away from AMD GPUs if you are going to be working a lot with AI. They just aren't in the same league. Also, a lot of the best AI software simply doesn't work at all on AMD, as they were specifically written for Nvidia cards.

Thanks, for now I will stick to 2 x 16 GB and will surely upgrade in next few months when prices are less or in upcoming sale. 5070 TI is overly priced in here, although 9070 XT is also not close reasonable price yet.

I only paid few bucks more for AIO, good air cooler was almost near to it. For board, I have purchased MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI Motherboard.

You're right.

I haven't bought it yet and waiting for prices to come down for 5070 TI.

Also, I forgot to mention that I already had two SSDs: Crucial P300 2 TB Samsung 2 TB Gen 4 and Samsung 2 TB Gen 3 and 2 TB HDDs too so for the same reason I went for board with more NVME SSD slots.
