Oh! Jeez, now that you mention it, that's gotten pretty uncommon.

The Valkyria Chronicles games have tanks but graphics aren't so realistic.

Battlezone Combat Commander has pretty good graphics, though we're talking science fiction tanks in that game:

When you say something serious, you mean a simulator? An action type game with direct control rather than a strategy game?

Isnt that something like the one Zloth already linked above. Steel Armor?

Steel Armor was the closest I could find. There was some Russian game in alpha testing that looked big on realism but the graphics were a tad sad still.
