My goal is to do gaming (Apex legends and eventually diablo 2) at max setting running at 130-230 FPS. I do not plan on streaming or anything else, just gaming for fun. My questions were:

- Have I chosen a good build?
- What GPU should I purchase to complete the build?

I had eyes on an EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra. Would it be compatible with my build and would I be able to run Apex and Diablo 2 Resurrected in max settings without any worry? If not, which GPU would you recommend me? (I have around 1500-1600 CAD budget - which is roughly 1200-1300 USD

What resolution are you planning on playing at? A 3080 would do fine, but if you are just playing apex and diablo 2, a 3070/3070ti or AMD equivalent would do just fine to get the FPS you are looking for, also, need to be able to find one lol.

I guess 1080p would be what I would be playing at. I doubt I could reach 150+ fps or more at 1440p.

And yeah, finding one is actually the biggest issue here haha

I suggest you make sure that you have all the hardware recruitment, and make sure the hardware is compatible to play the game, and also make sure your PSU specification.
but I think, your hardware component is good enough to play THE APEX LEGEND & DIABLO.
for the GPU, RTX is highly recommended, and I think you can get high FPS.
just to make sure, can you mention your MONITOR specification, I'm just afraid your monitor isn't compatible and hurt your eyes.

enjoy...
