- You're on the latest version of your operating system by running Windows Update.
- You've downloaded (but not yet installed) the latest drivers found off of your manufacturer's support page.

- Follow the instructions there to uninstall your respective GPU drivers with your system in SAFE MODE
- Reboot the computer from there after removing the drivers and then run your downloaded GPU driver installer.
- Reboot the system again after installing it to confirm the drivers perform properly.
