Question How to clean a colored mousepad

Hi! So, I have a mousepad that has a lot of light gray and some black here and there, I was just wondering if I clean it with shampoo and water, will the colors fade?

To clean my mousepad I normally just use a nice clean cloth with water and it comes clean. My mousepad is black and it's never really gets dirty as I don't bring food or anything near it. Try to just use a wash cloth with just water first to see if you can get it clean. Not sure what the result will be if you use something like shampoo or soap on it.. I get it depends on the type of mousepad you use.

If you need to remove some of the greases, use some mild detergent. If not just use warm water and give it a gentle rub with a fine fabric cloth so you do not damage the surface.
