How long has something been in your wish list

I am waiting for a game called A.S.H. to come out and according to my steam client it has been in my wish list since 23/4/2023 and its still marked COMING SOON

I got some from 2016, so should probably start cleaning up. A lot of the games I wishlisted I also bought from bundles or got from free through Epic Games and GOG.

The entry that's been on my wishlist the longest is for Civilization 6: Rise and Fall, since 08/02/2018. 4 days before my daughter was born. Since then it's been very rare for me to have enough time in a day to play a game of Civilization.

As for the oldest entry for a game that hasn't been released yet, that's for Elysian Eclipse that I added on 20/05/2024. I don't expect it to be released any time soon, but it seems to still be in active development.

You asked just a couple of days too late.

I completely cleared my wishlist two or three days ago. It had 92 entries on it. I decided to be totally focused on finishing games I started and abandoned, which is a pretty long list (Alan Wake 2, Death Stranding, Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil 8, Dead Space remake, and more) and also tap into my rarely touched VR library.

I could not tell you what game was on there the longest. More than half were of the "coming soon" years ago variety, but that's the best I can remember.

I only have two in my wish-list and both added since October last year.

I hadn't really bothered using it until then, as most times the games I am after exist already,

System Shock Remake, added in 2019. Civ 7 is the best-selling game on my list, and also the one with the lowest review scores.
