Thanks man, I'll try that out.If you're technical enough you should grab Optifine (https://optifine.net/home). The site looks old and potentially dodgy but as far as I know it's perfectly safe. For more information on it you might want to check Reddit/YouTube for installation instructions etc.
That will give you a lot more graphic options to play around with and you'll want to be bringing things down in quality until you're getting stable frames. Minecraft never runs great on built-in graphics but I would hope that the decent amount of RAM you're rocking there it might help a bit.
I do watch a lot of LowSpec (for obvious reasons) just never knew he had a video on MinecraftFletch makes a good suggestion with Optifine. You might also like this video by the Low Spec Gamer (a fantastic channel to watch if you want to run games on low-end hardware).
