Hi guys . I have found a game on IndieGoGo called WarChess , which I am considering to support, but I haven't seen it on the news before. Have you heard of such game , and if yes - what ?
They are obviously raising money for bulding a prototype , so it will be a long run before the game is out , but does it worth supporting it ?

I assume its a new game and not this one - https://gamefabrique.com/games/war-chess/
think I found the PS2 version of that as well.

i found a new board game - https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/134756/war-chess-game-battle

and naturally there is fog of war chess - https://www.chess.com/terms/fog-of-war-chess

they could have, oh I don't know, chosen a name that hasn't already been used
From what I can see on their IndieGoGo page , it is nothing like the ones you have found . I've also found those browsing Google , but none of them looks like the one I am mentioning ( https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-me-fund-the-prototype-of-warchess/pies )

According to the project page you linked, the game is in the very early stage of development—she's talking about outsourcing various parts of the dev with the money she raises.

That would explain why it hasn't been in the news—in short, there's nothing yet to make the news.

The money goal is $9K. A sum like that should be raiseable from family, friends and colleagues. At the very least, I would leave it until at least half the sum has been raised—you need some sign that some of those who know her are prepared to back her, before you get involved.

If you know the dev personally, then of course you're in a much better place to judge—do you?

Thanks for the information. I will postpone my pledge, untill it reaches at least half of its goal , as you proposed.
