Question Gigabyte G27QC Black Issues

I just bought the monitor named above and I tried Borderlands 3 and Hades. For whatever reason I am getting visual issues when turning or moving as you can see in the two videos linked.

Is this a VA panel thing??

Yeah it's called black smearing and it generally affects most VA panels. From reading it sounds like the Samsung G7 panels may have tried to overcome this albeit there's other potential pitfalls. I generally stick to IPS panels for gaming although the contrast isn't as good as the VA's sadly.
