more old games playable again.

He talked about his favorite racing game of all time, which was made by Papyrus. I miss them, but they were closed down by Vivendi (less than a year after their most successful game). The founder of Papyrus then started iRacing, which I've never tried, but is probably too sim for me since I don't have a wheel.

cockpit view looks detailed but actual world doesn't impress me

I think I'm going to buy this to hold me over until Forza Horizon 6 comes out in May. If you haven't played any of the Forza Horizon games, you need to. They are exactly the type of driving game you say you like. You can easily put hundreds of hours in them. Horizon 5 is the most successful PC driving/racing game of all time, and it deserves it.

Eh, I've talked myself into wanting to play Horizon 5 again. I may reconsider Test Drive.

I have F5H on Gamepass but never got around to playing it (or any games on game pass).

Hot days for remainder of week, I might think to play it next week.
