For Zed and other satisfactory users .

I was using the game when the latest patch got released today so after it got installed i logged back in.

I have 600 drone ports and almost as many drones , from time to time i would see an odd drone suck in mid air and to kick it back into life i would reload a save and the drone would wake up and move.

After the last update i reloaded a save from the beginning of the year and all my drones are stuck in mid air , i have only seen 2 move and my reload save trick did nothing.

Their is no point in running the game anymore because sooner or later all my production lines and nuke power stations will stop.

I have 5 years and over 5,000 hours of my life invested in this game and it is now unusable.

FOOTNOTE ..... patch notes say they updates the unreal engine 5 to a later version , if your satisfactory game is broke let me know whats not working.

Man, I hate that. Stuff like this is so annoying and causes a lot of stress. However, the game has been out since 2019, and they have always fixed these things when they happen. If it's happening to you, it's almost certainly happening to others. I would just figure out, if you don't already know, the exact way that they request you turn in bug reports, like if there is a form on their site maybe, and submit it with any documentation they request. I've never really had a bug on Satisfactory unless I was playing the experimental branch, so I'm not sure how it's done. I am very confident they'll get this fixed. If they updated to a new version of unreal, they'll probably be on alert and fixing things for a couple of weeks.

One thing you may want to try is to destroy and rebuild one of the drone stations and see if a fresh station, built inside the new version of Unreal, behaves the same way.

I posted on q and a what i posted here and a dev asked me for a save file.. he also said change running verion back to default .. right click satisfactory name in game list and in properties open game and betas tab and go back onto default , it reloads games files ... all ok now
