I'm new to this forum and to the PC community but would really like to get started. I have parts picked out for my first PC build and to the best of my knowledge everything's compatible and would fit pretty nicely. Would it be overkill to ask a few people to check if everything's compatible? I'd hate to buy $1,000 worth of parts and realize I bought the wrong CPU or have a GPU that isn't compatible with my motherboard or too big for my case.
Thanks!

And if buying components to assemble yourself, often best to post them in a list on
(although unlike what the PC Gamer guide says, don't limit it to Amazon and Newegg but the stores you intend to use, with real prices)
