more ram would help but you seem to be fine.

Very few PC have sound cards anymore , its mostly done by chips on the motherboard. You should be fine.
Was going to say the same.

Even if you account for laptop's usually (not always) being clocked lower than their CPU counterparts on CPU and GPU, your processors should be up to recommended spec. You also have WAY more storage space than needed, freakishly large even for a laptop. However, it clearly says you'll want 32 GB RAM for recommended spec. Fortunately that's always one of the things you can upgrade on a laptop.

Do you guys think I will be able to run game fine with my specs? Also, do you guys recommend that I upgrade System RAM from 16GB to 64GB? I can go up to 64GB for RAM (2x 32GB Modules). Again, here are my current laptop specs:
- Windows 11 64-bit OS
- AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX , 8 Cores, 16 Threads @ 3.3-4.6GHz
- 16GB System RAM
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 @ 16GB VRAM
- DirectX Version 12_1
- 2 4TB SSDs

Thoughts and help appreciated :)

Not sure if you double posted but the question has been answered above already. However as for 64GB RAM, I mean if you can afford it go for it ;) It seems we are at the very start of more games recommending 32GB RAM but I feel it’ll be a few more years before that is totally standard. Did Firmament announce its supporting DirectStorage? I wonder why it wants you to have 32GB…

I’m not sure how fast or effective 64GB RAM is since I’m still stuck on 16. I would do some research and see if you can get 32GB RAM at faster speeds/CL timings. 64 may still be overkill unless you do 3D rendering or video editing or anything of that sort.

As guys said above, 16GB RAM is mostly fine these days, but some games are starting to appear recommending 32GB. My understanding is the latest consoles have 16GB, so not many big games will be designed for above that for years to come—PC Exclusives are the only candidates.

I wouldn't recommend 64GB, and certainly not DDR4. By the time 64 becomes useful, DDR5—or later!—will be standard.
