Don't let it get too low, I've found letting chargeable headsets or mice go to zero shortens the hold-charge time by a large amount.

I prefer wireless, and it is not even close. I only use mice for desktop apps and strategy and sim games, and for adventure/action games, I use a controller.

I got the G502 Lightspeed, and I use it with the Powerplay mouse pad, so it's never out of juice.
