Title kinda says it all but i was baffeled on this. You can grab them for 60-70 dollars. but i have a gripe with your budget head phones recommendation.
The noise canceling is great, so good even at the lowest volume you wont hear someone walk in or ask you something. In fact i often will leave it half off an ear just so to talk even with the sound on pause.
The mic works great and is removable and has a switch on/off. Never had a single complaint about sound quailty in 2k hours of online voip
They have great base with solid mids and highs are not tinny. Along with 7.1 and a base boost switch
They are super comphy so you can wear them for hours with zero pain, and the ear peices are super soft. They also fit people with large heads. which is rare
They are made of metal and a quality vinyl that last. I used to buy a new pair of head phones ever other year at least, beacuase the band broke or a side went out. Not these, The hyper cloud x ii lasted me almost 8 years! I just replaced them with you guessed it another pair and the quality is the same i opted for the iis verse the newer version, price, not wireless and lots of folks actually prefer their sound over the newer ones. But i guess that part is personal preference.
The only down side is the wire, but id rather have that than the batteries.
Can you really say that the cosair for 60 bucks is better, when you can get tem for basically the same price? i see the ii's for 60 quite often. The hyper x cloud ii's still are top end head phones, but now at budget prices... newer isnt always better, and seriously how many head phones can be used for literally 8 years and nearly 5k hours with both sides and mic still working before kicking it (According to my steam play time). And it was my fault they broke, had i not tried to replace the ear peices and broke the wire on one side id be closing in on year 9!
As deslock would, would say, nuff said
Ps i took ypur advice and bought a pair of noctua a12-25 pwm for an upgrade on my cooler to OC my cpu, ill let you know how it turns out.
