I played a little bit of this demo today. Then I played a bunch more and finished the demo level with all three available characters.

Really satisfying game. It took a bit to properly understand how to use the fusion/evolution mechanic to its fullest, but at my last run I was freezing the entire front row of enemies half the time while another ball bounced back and forth through all enemies doing AoE damage, all while I was juggling between picking up XP and catching balls so I could shoot them again more quickly.

I messed around with the demo for Stellar Blade last night

It's an action-adventure. Combat was fun and there was even a little exploration (basically, hidden little side paths to a little treasure). I'm not done with the demo yet - I don't know how long it will last. I hope it will be long enough to get a grip on the story.

People are calling it a souls-like, but they seem to call anything a souls-like these days. It's simply another action-adventure game, only with a supermodel protagonist.

We can't really discuss politicians here, but that doesn't mean we can't play like one! :D

We have a 2D Yooka Laylee game but it becomes pretty hard, even for me, so I'm not sure how kid friendly this one is.

That one would no doubt be Yooka Unlikelee for clumsy adults like me! Two of my older brothers when I was young were pretty good with instruments, one drums, the other guitar and piano. I could never move my fingers independently well enough to manage guitar or piano. Then there's timing and rhythm as well. I always imagine those type games throwing a ton of notes at you in varying intervals and having to spread your fingers places they don't want to go. I tried Guitar Hero once on my friend's PS4. Despite his having fairly advanced Muscular Dystrophy, he destroyed me. I'll never live that one down. Being a PC guy, my excuse was I suck with gamepads.

Pokemon/Digimon type of game where you capture monsters and fight with them to make them better. Cool skill effects, not too hard and you can save monsters you find so you can use them on your next run. Tons of other stuff you can do with them, but that is the gist of it. Fight, loot, and skill up.

Fun and smooth demo that shows promise of a solid full release. You basically spin a slot machine to use your skills and then you upgrade after each boss you kill. Easy to get into, not too hard, and you have a few options on how to play it. Music and sound effects are pretty good and there is a good flow to the game.

Wierd and wonderful demo about skating in some philosophical acid world. It's weird in a fun way with cool music as a relaxing underlayer. I definitely recommend trying it out. You do need a controller.

It feels just like Heroes of Might and Magic III, which means I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm having fun just running around.

I played the demo for Lessaria, a spiritual successor of Majesty 2.

In fact, it's so much like Majesty 2 I wouldn't really be able to tell you the differences. The first 3 missions available in the demo were pretty easy, but when I tried survival I got overwhelmed just as quickly as I used to do when playing Majesty 2. I do like the idea of a game where you indirectly control heroes, but it needs to be a bit slower paced for me. More like a city building sim and less like a RTS.

any of you interested in a badmington game? kind of on a par with tennis world tour 2?
i had waited since last year i think for 'pure badmington' to be released. and the demo only got released a short time ago, worth instaling if you like sports,i think with a pad the controls are fluid-directing the shuttleco** takes just a little bit of geting used to, im hoping the graphics will be a bit more realistic upon release though,i think its november? for anyone interested:

i used to be play badminton for special olympicsUK before i got my spinal injury, i was playing singles and doubles a lot with one of the best special olympics badmington players in the NW,she was absolutly brutal. itd be nice if these sports games included disabled seasons as a choice like in tennis games for example why isnt wheelchair tennis included when its become so popular threw competions like wimbledon?, id love to play as alfie hewitt, hes a tactical ninja when it comes tennis.
