I liked the first borederlands (was that a typo or subconscious?) but I never got into the second one and didn't buy part 3 as that subconscious typo isn't far off how I felt by then.
I preferred the second one, but the first is also decent. Borderlands 3 is when the series went kakapo. It had good gun mechanics and skill trees, but the story was terrible and had incredibly annoying characters you had to listen to. Actually, that is not precisely true for me though because I muted the bloody voice audio so I would not get that annoyed.

They talk about Borderlands 4 going to be more mature and toned down on the toilet humor, but I don't see that happening. They lost their touch and just looking at the new BL4 main characters, I can already see where this kakapo is going.

No one knows exactly how much money Valve makes, but the most recent estimate I saw was $9 billion/year. Based on this and 339 employees, Valves revenue per employee was over $26 million/employee. The estimated profit percentage for Valve is 40 percent, so the average profit per employee is over $10 million.

For comparison, Amazon's net income per employee is around $15,000.

I don't know, never used it. Social media is just a waste of time.
I never saw myself as interesting enough to bother talking on any of them.

Same, never had an account, even the variant of twitter, instagrams "threads" is just as toxic. I sometimese get messages from people my age on Snapchat and im like, wtf is someone my age using this app to talk to me for lol.

Even though i occasionally stream and stuff, im not sure its all that interesting either.

Also probably have the least friends on facebook because i only add people that i actually talk to irl.

I have a Facebook account but only as I was looking for old friends 10 years or so ago and used it to try to find some, I haven't used it at all since. Mum uses it to keep up with family.

I have a linkedn account but I had to set it up for some course I did, and I don't use it as if I do, they offer "free" upgrades to my service that end up being monthly costs I don't need/want. I know how "free" monthly accounts work, they rely on you forgetting and then charging you monthly for something you don't use. Reminds me I need to think about cancelling Xbox sub on PC... I never play those games.

About next closest would be reddit where I had an account for 15 years but have never posted anything... I just read. Early on there were actually intelligent conversations there, until it became front page of internet and pretty stupid by this stage.

I guess Discord might count as social media but as its restricted in scope, there is no front page of Discord where anyone can look at server posts, so they stay "local" and strangers can't interact with them unless they on the server. And a lot of them are invite only.

Hardly a social butterfly. Prefer to not follow trends, don't see self as a sheep (or lemming)

I’m in the Hard G group. I pronounce “gibs” and “gifs” with a hard G like in the word “give”. Hard pronunciation on the G. Just makes sense to me, but I won’t get annoyed if you say gif like a shortened version of Jiffy.
Gibs like giblets and gif like graphics.

But I'm not going to fight anyone about it :)

Spelling of words is determined by how we spell them, right? If you spell a word differently than most everyone else, then your spelling is wrong. However, if a large group of people spell a word in a new way and keep spelling it that way, it eventually becomes an alternate spelling of the same word, right? Because I've been seeing MANY people spelling "lose" as "loose" for MANY years now.... ;)
