Days Gone "FREE" pcgamer mag newbie

Hello all,

I bought Jan25' PCGamer today for that Christmas shopping train journey. An article in it stating that "Days Gone" apparently is free somewhere or at least it implies that. Either that or I fully admit my stupidity and ignorance now as I cant find it anywhere.

Anyone shed light on where this freebie is at ?

The only person who is meant to be in the future here is me... Jan 25 is still next month. Perhaps they are aware of future (sic) sales.

Cnet appear to have it for free - Studio are the uploader there so maybe.

I don't know how many staff working this week but they might see it here and point us in right direction.

That isn't free. The download links take you to its Steam page. If you go to CNETS's main download page and search for Days Gone you'll see "PAID" under the link to its description page.

Thanks to all for being patient with my stupidity. After further reading of this article titled with "Days Gone" and letting my excitement subside with the possibility that "Days Gone" was the freebie in question. That game is not in fact the free game but is actually the game "Funeralopolis : Last Days". So apologies to those who backed up my early confusion. Ill go back to my cell now and not disturb any one ever again at least until Ive read and article properly. Leaving you with the added bonus that it has a score of 77/100 and looks worthy of download and is in fact free.

2 years back I got the game absolutely free on "EPIC". Always keep an eye out on Steam and EPIC sale for PC games.

Yeap I agree and I generally do but there are so many similar sites these days including the freebies with Amazon gaming that even with alert forums and sites I think its easy to miss a gem here and there. Hence my initial excitement that I thought Id got a second chance at days gone when I missed it on Epic a while back.
