After complaining about credits, I need to acknowledge some good ones - besides the ones in the article.
Sacrifice. The developers were clearly having fun here, casting themselves as various characters/units from the game.
NieR:Automata. Bullet-hell credits followed by a nasty choice. (Big spoilers in this one.)
Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The first 5 minutes used some meh song with big credits (skipped in my link), but then they shove the credits off to the right and show clips from the main quest while music from the game itself plays. About 12 minutes worth, covering the entire game! I was glued to the screen watching the recap.
(If they do this for all three games, watching the end credits back-to-back-to-back would recap the whole saga!)
You know how credits sometimes get followed by little teasers? Well, Xenosaga 1 (yeah, it's console only - so far) did more than that, showing a whole bunch of stuff going on and setting up the next game. (Though the talking clashes with the singing a bit.)
X3: Terran Conflict has suitably spacy end credits. Play it before bed.
And, of course, we can't skip Portal's credits. Just an awesome song that fits absolutely perfectly. Pictured in the article but not actually linked (though there was a different Still Alive).
