The "sad" story of how I lost my best friend:

So I was visiting my best friend for a few brewskies. Had not seen him since he moved into his wife's new house.. So, there we were, sitting on his wife's porch, looking at the 2-by-2 mahogany pink chihuahua doghouse and his wife's hand-painted pink picket fence...

I told him I was getting a new game this weekend and was going to nolife it hard! He then put his hand on my shoulder and looked me deep into my eyes and with a warm smile he told me: No, you are going to yeslife it.

I downed the lukewarm pisswater Budweiser and never looked back.

Thank you for reading my "sad" story and I wish you all a pleasant Tuesday:grinning:

thanks Google for changing the 1st choice in Search to AI Mode and forcing me to retrain myself to click the 2nd choice.

There is an upside, now All seems to be mostly real responses and I can ignore the AI replies completely

I sent Zed a friend request, at least he might recognise my avatar. See what happens.

7D2D.......

Spoke to soon when I said 34 days and no deaths. Found a treasure map to a place not far from the Rekt trader. Struggled to find the chest underground but kept looking. Had a small hole at the top (1x2 square going down) and probably about 10 x3 squares opened up underground, looking for the chest.

By the time I heard the Zombie train it was too late. Ended up trapped in that "hole" with about 14 Zombies of which most of them was bikers and Fat mammas.

Needless to say, I died down there. So now 36 days, 1 death........and counting

Well damn. Found out today that my dog probably has cancer. We could get $1000 worth of tests to confirm that, but the evidence is pretty obvious and something my wife and I have been thinking about over the last few days noticing his pretty dramatic weight loss. He's only 10 and I was hoping for around 14 out of him. Anyway, pretty broken-up about it. Maybe just because he's my own, but definitely the best dog I've ever known.

Only plan at this point is to make him comfortable. Give him extra food and treats, walks and throwing the ball so he can enjoy life as much as possible until he can't.

Sad day indeed. The doc give an indication of how long he has left?

Not something anyone wants to hear.

Something to consider is to get a puppy and let him teach the puppy his ways. Not a replacement, but a new addition to the family and trained by someone who has been part of your family for many years.

Yes, now you can have the dog biscuits, and he can have the Oreo's with milk.

Finally getting to see the light a bit. Not sure if it has the same name where you guys are from, but we call it "Matric farewell" here. It's the last party of you high school days before going into the big world.

Most Matric farewells are in October few earlier but not much of them later since the will be writing their finals from early November. In short, I have two more bookings and then the first thing I am doing is get a weeks' worth of sleep. Had enough of it now, will try again next year around October.

Pretty much the same thing on repeat just different venues and different artists. Like doing a tour and using different artists to perform at each stop.

That sucks

The last dog I had was when I was 11 so I can't really remember her. Dogs could escape from out backyard too easy so it never occurred to me to get another one.

I had fish, I don't know how many of those died in the time I had them (really, all of them have now) so it didn't pay to get attached to them, but the memory of some of them still stings now if I think about it.

Zed needed a break, so he be back when he wants to. Free world.
