Just watched a video of some British bloke pointing a laser at a police helicopter. Cops knock on his door and he explains:

"I was watching the aircraft, a couple of guys outside pointing lasers. It was not me! I'm 45 and too old to do this stuff, and I am also eating dinner. He is saying this is the most British street slang, so it was hard to hear half of it. Then he says:

" Search the house, I don't have any laser pointers."

Police then do a short search of his sofa and find a laser pointer under one of the sofa cushions

Him:
"I guess I am fk'd then." :ROFLMAO:

I live in a city where people are utterly stupid with way too much hatred toward police, so I can relate. As far as I'm concerned anyone who goes to the extreme of trying to make a service chopper of ANY kind crash ought to be put on a national list of domestic terrorists, seriously.

Well wish me luck. I am the one always complaining about exchange rates etc and today spend A LOT of money on software. Because of my new direction I am following I was in need of cutting-edge software that is not copyrighted and easy to use.

I spent $299 on Kontakt (8) and then an additional $139 on Ethera gold Atlantis (3).

Following was made inside Ethera

Can multiply that by 21 then you will get 9198 ZAR. On average that is equal to just over two months wages here. Let's hope it is a good investment for me. The wife, well she is furious about it. ....... Oops, Guess the doghouse is my future. Least I will have something to do while scooting the dog over to the other corner.

"Would you mind go upstairs and opening my sock drawer?"

Just went through the new software. Installation.....yeah ummmm they need to work on instructions (Version compatible instructions) or maybe do it with pictures. I am still looking for a spanner Icon, that by mistake eventually found out it to be a gear Icon because I have a newer kontakt version.... So installation is fast if you know where to go.

I do not have words really. Spot checked here and there, mainly wanted the polyphonic samples and obviously tested them out first. Nice part which I wish all of the VTS's (Virtual instruments) would have is that you have a stand-alone version and a plug-in version in one installation. So, when just testing or checking on things, you can run it in stand-alone and when working with it you can run it as a plug in to FL Studio. The above video, everything you hear in it comes from the software. I will have to confirm the drums but did find a few drum loops in there (I just spot checked some of the things so there will still be some surprises for me). In addition to now having over 32GB's of Legato's and Synths, it comes with an instructional manual of how to work with legato's (Tested it as per the manual and works on all versions (LMAO)).

After the wife heard me tinker on it a bit (Made a small test-run demo with a few vocals blending) she told me it sounds as if it was worth it. So, I still have my side of the bed and hopefully no funny things in the socks drawer (LMAO). Also spoke to an artist (friend of mine) and told him I bought it, and he asked if he can be first to get something from it. He will be dropping off his new idea's tomorrow. Thinking maybe a dramatic stage intro........or a filler somewhere....(Think, think, think.....probably not going to sleep because of this now) See if I can work it in there somehow. Obviously, this was the point where my wife started smiling again and offered me some coffee.

Once I am done with the school and other 3 (Now 4) tracks, then maybe I can try Pathfinder again. Wonder if I will remember what I was busy doing or even how to play........that is if my PC can still play it since I had to delete many things to get the space for Ethera. Might not have enough space left.............
