"Unexpected Storage Exception." This BSOD always appears only when gaming. I guessed HDD gets dismounted for some reason, causing BSOD. Because of BSOD, error name, and dismounted HDD after restarting, I thought the culprit was the HDD. But when I moved my games to another HDD, BSOD still appeared and BOTH HDD had been dismounted. I wanna get advice from you guys before clean installing windows or do other things. Windows 10 Pro, version: 20H2, OS build: 19042.928, MOTHERBOARD: h61h2-am3, CPU: i5 3470, GPU: DUAL GTX 1050, 8Gb RAM. I know , it's an old setup. I'm a poor, 15 yo kid. Hi!

First off let me say that I've never experienced this issue. But if it were me I would first check the health of my hard drives, heres a guide with some ideas for that. It could be you have a drive on the way out, I'm afraid.

You can also try using a different SATA cable as I've had those go bad and cause strange issues before myself. If you dont have a spare at least they are quite cheap.

Its also possible that your PSU has a problem. Some power supplies have trouble with regulating power when they are under stress, like when gaming. This can cause hard drives to become slowly damaged over time or act strangely due to their power supply being slightly lower or higher then specified. Unfortunately the only way to know is to replace the PSU and see if it goes away. This is probably your last option, but I have to mention it just in case.

Someone else might have some other ideas for software as I'm not much good with wrangling Windows, hope something helps.

Dump conversion - https://jsfiddle.net/vtaeL2dp/show

All 3 BSOD say -IO_ERROR: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000483 - The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error.

all 3 happened after info from storage is written into memory, and then cpu looks at ram and crashes. Ram is where drivers live.

Page fault - this is a normal operation of windows if the CPU needs to access info in ram
Hard page fault - this is where windows needs to access info on storage.
errors mentioned both types

Since windows 10 uses virtual memory, the actual location of the error could be on storage or ram. hence we look in both.

So what drive is windows on? maybe its not the hdd, could be but its same memory location in all 3 BSOD. It could be a driver as 1st error thinks its software

i know its an old device based on 2012 bios, but have you tried running https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html to see if any newer drivers, as your sata drivers are from 2015
newer versions of these might help =

were both sticks of ram in the pc when you got it? the cause could be ram
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it
