Hey guys,

i was just wondering if gaming could hurt/damage my laptop.
I got an ASUS VivoBook 15 with the following hardware:
-AMD Ryzen 5 3500U
-AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics with 2 GB of vram
- 8 GB RAM

i play GTA V a lot, all on low settings but it runs between 50-70 fps. I also kept an eye on the temps, they don't go any higher than 70 degrees.
Other than the temps, could gaming damage my laptop?

Your PC should shut itself down if heat starts to be an issue but keeping an eye on it is good. Other than that, the only danger is from getting frustrated and throwing the laptop across the room. 😉
okay, but i can imagine the (internal) gpu and cpu degrading faster since its operating under high load for almost all the time. But this is not true?
