What is the point in making you become visible when attacking when the enemies can just go invisible again right after (and move some more)?

Things are coming to an end. The Raphael fight was fun.

Lae'zel is an absolute murder monster. I tried Karlach again at level 12 and there is no comparison. She had great gear and 22 strength, too. I'm going to switch her in my solo game to a fighter because I absolutely love her character.

@Pifanjr I wouldn't carry your lack of enthusiasm for magic gear into Act 3. There's some great stuff to find and sometimes buy. Makes a huge difference in your stats.

You could do that too. I recently did that with Wyll's imp familiar: I snuck up on an enemy while invisible, attacked it causing it to be surprised, attacked it again in the surprise round and then became invisible before they could act and flew away.

Sadly the enemy could heal itself when out of combat, so I couldn't kill her like that, but she started with a decent chunk of temporary hit points that I removed that way.

I do now have a ring on Karlach that gives her extra acid damage on every attack and a cloak that possibly inflicts an enemy with a damaging acid aura if you do acid damage, which is a pretty fun combination.

Yeah, I came into Baldur's Gate loaded with cash. Two stores and it was almost all gone. I even pulled out all those plate armors I had sent off to camp storage and sold them off.

Oh no, I had just stopped picking up every single piece of gear of every single dead enemy (and ally), but now I feel like I might need to start again...

Though I don't think there are that many enemies left before I reach Act 3, I'm pretty sure I'm almost at the end of Act 2.
